About
Train children in the right way,
and when old, they will not stray.
– Proverbs 22:6
You want to raise your kids to know and love Jesus. But between the struggles of bedtime and vegetable-eating and temper tantrums, it can feel overwhelming.
How do we make time for our own prayer lives with God, let alone figure out how to share faith with our children?
We get it. We’re in your shoes. We spend a lot of time feeding, teaching, playing with our kids… and asking God how to live as faithful witnesses to his big grace. We’re pastors and parents. We went to school for the pastor part. But there’s no school for parenting! Many days we feel like theology is easier than parenting.
Our goal is not to help our kids become model citizens. Our goal is to help them become citizens of God’s kingdom. Proverbs 22:6 gives us hope: Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray. If you’ve experienced God’s love and want your children to taste of it as well, then this blog is for you.
We write about ways you can help your kids know and love Jesus, the Church, and this crazy life God has set before us. We give tips, ideas, and we’ll often point back to Scripture. We’re in the throes of babyhood and toddlerhood ourselves, so we make this offering from a place of humility. We commiserate with your frustrations, and we rejoice with your victories.

We want to encourage parents and families, and we want to journey with you. Please reach out if you would like us to pray for you, answer questions, or share on a particular topic.
